About our organization
Bayitu is a non-profit organization based in Kazakhstan that aims to help find and develop the interests of children in local orphanages through conducting regular workshops. We provide an opportunity for self-actualization by exposing the kids to various disciplines, from math tutoring to bracelet-making and neuroscience.
Bayitu does fundraising through local sponsoring companies and organizes charity events. The money is used for supporting orphanages and purchasing workshop supplies. Bayitu team also organizes donation events where toys, books, and clothes are collected and distributed among the children at local orphanages.

Hi all! My name is Almina, and I am a creative leader from Kazakhstan. I started teaching at an orphanage in 2022 and believe that every individual should have an opportunity for self-actualization. I am very passionate about the idea of investing resources into children, so they change my country for the better in the future. My vision of success is bringing change-makers from all walks of life together to promote social growth. I hope to continue exploring social issues and change the way people view social organizations in Kazakhstan.

Global Possibility NetworkIn August 2023, Bayitu became a member of the Global Possibility Network (GPN) at UPenn Graduate School of Education. The GPN focuses on the possible development of children and youth within the context of schools, families, and communities.
Today, our team is mentored by UPenn professors to enhance teaching and mentoring for children as well as expand internationally.
